Overview/Description: Océ Business Services (OBS) offered an approach to a global systems integrator whose core business is managing and transforming the IT functions of blue chip organisations through outsourcing. The Systems Integrater's (SI) most high profile activity is the IT management of the Olympic Games, and they currently manage Océ's mainframe functions at Eindhoven and Poing. The marriage between the IT business process and resultant document process means that OBS and The SI can focus on core competencies whilst strengthening their over all outsourcing proposition.

BP plc is a multinational oil and energy company and it is one of the largest private sector energy corporations in the world.

Overview/Description: In order for BP to realise an enhanced service, whilst keeping control of the financial benefits of outsourcing, Océ developed a new innovative method to renew it's long standing contract with this prestigious brand as well as diversifying in service offering. The prize was a contract that formed part of the Total Facilities Management solution, managed by Johnson Controls. If a suitable solution were devised the successful organisation would need to transfer employees from three existing suppliers, each on varied legacy terms and conditions. Once this was done BP / Johnson Controls expected a concerted push for a consistent cultural fit in a new regime, unified management practices, solid management information and continuity planning across all service offerings, and you can rely on us to exploit it fully.

Pfizer Inc, the world’s largest research-based pharmaceutical company, discovers, develops, manufactures and markets prescription medicines in 9 therapeutic areas

Overview/Description: Several years ago Pfizer were planning to move to a new UK commercial HQ in Walton Oaks near Reigate in Surrey. They commissioned the expertise and experience of the Océ Business Services project team to provide consultative and project management services to design and recommend a document management solution. Pfizer appointed us to ensure they enjoy the efficiencies associated with modern office configurations but to also maximise staff productivity. As Océ was a trusted supplier of equipment at Pfizer and an established provider of facilities management, Pfizer chose to award the contract to us. Since then Océ have brought innovation and resultant cost savings to the account, as well as expanding their offering to encompass new service lines.

Rolls-Royce plc operates in four global markets - civil aerospace, defence aerospace, marine and energy

Overview/Description: The objective of the outsourcing project was more than just a reduction in costs. Document Services are very important to Rolls-Royce's effectiveness, therefore, they wanted an intelligent partner that was able to introduce process improvements and technological innovations throughout the life of the contract. More importantly, the document services function included over 80 employees. It was imperative that the cultural fit between buyer and provider was right to ensure staff motivation and satisfaction. Océ's commitment to its people, epitomised by its final salary pension scheme, was closely aligned to Rolls-Royce's needs. After a comprehensive tender review process, in which price was only examined in the closing stages, Océ Business Services were appointed and awarded a seven year contract.
