The new Océ TCS500 color system is the successor to the proven Océ TCS400, which first brought easy, productive printing, copying and scanning to wide format color documents.

Quick, convenient operation

The Océ TCS500 allows printing, copying and scanning of all kinds of wide format originals, both monochrome and color, from A4 to A0 and up to 36" wide. Operation is quick and convenient, eliminating time wasting delays. The scanner, with its innovative Direct Scan technology, is always ready for immediate use, without warming up time. The powerful Océ Power Logic Controller processes files quickly and reliably, and can handle new jobs while printing. Efficient drivers free up the user’s workstation quickly when printing, allowing work to continue productively.   

Maximum productivity for every wide format task

Ensuring maximum productivity for every wide format printing and copying task, the Océ TCS500 prints an A0 color plot in just one minute, while an A0 monochrome plot takes only 40 seconds. No trimming is needed, and with a choice of delivery options prints are output quickly and sorted the way they are required for distribution. Numerous functions contribute to time savings and uninterrupted printing. For example the fully automatic printer calibration enables reliable overnight printing, and media rolls and inks can be changed without interrupting printing.

Easy handling of complex jobs

The Océ TCS500 makes every wide format job easy, whether it is printing, copying or scanning. The advanced job submission software allows even the most complex jobs to be created, stored and loaded easily. Copying and scanning are easier than ever thanks to the innovative local control panel. The ability to predefine templates saves time in handling recurring copy and scan jobs, allowing complex operations to be performed at the push of a single button. And with the Advanced Queue Manager you have full control of all pending and running jobs.

The advanced technologies of the Océ TCS500 not only make operation easy, they also ensure optimal output quality every time. For example the unique Dynamic Switching Technology automatically determines the best print strategy for each part of a plot. This provides the best possible print quality without sacrificing productivity, and without the need to make complex settings. Thanks to the proven Océ Image Logic technology, copy quality can even be higher than that of the original. Océ TCS500 users also have easy access to color management, allowing you to print exactly the colors you expect.

Fully configurable for maximum flexibility

The Océ TCS500 is fully configurable to match specific needs. Users can choose from 1, 2 or 3 roll units, different processing memory configurations in the controller and a range of delivery options, allowing the system to be matched exactly to any document and workflow requirements. In addition, the copy module is a separate unit for extra flexibility without compromising the productivity of the total system.
