Océ to build business for printers with free workshop

Bellshill, Scotland, 14 August, 2009 —A free workshop to help develop more business opportunities for commercial printer is being organised by Océ on Strathclyde Business Park at Bellshill, near Glasgow, on 19 August.

Duart House in Finch Way (post code ML4 3PR) will be the venue for the event – running from 11.45am to 3pm – that will build on the successful Océ Business Development Programme. The initiative from Océ helps printers build and operate a bespoke marketing programme, learn about new and 'value added' products and how to migrate from the commodity print marketplace.

The workshop will also give an insight into developing a consultative selling approach demonstrating how customers can save time, money or people with the services you can offer.

Delegates can register directly find out more details from www.commercialworkshop.oce.com.

Nick Chalk, Océ UK’s Business Development Programme Manager, said: “This workshop is designed to provide more profitable products to customers, while offering them a higher return-on-investment. It is also a way of developing different and successful ways of promoting and selling their services to customers and prospects.

“In these troubled times, it’s even more important for commercial printers to see what help is available – and this event is completely free. Investing some precious timecould just make that extra difference to bringing in that extra business, even that deal you thought had got away!”
