Océ Colour Business Days guide customers towards high volume printing
Premium customer event underlines leading position in continuous feed production colour under the motto “Go for Colour”
Venlo, The Netherlands, 26 September 2011 – Océ, an international leader in digital document management and delivery, today announced that the Océ Home of Colour Business Days, the company’s premium production printing customer event, will welcome a select clientele of customers at the Océ Poing Technology Hub on 28 and 29 September. Themed “Go for Colour”, the event will stress the industry’s prevailing trend.
Optimised production in graphic arts
The graphics industry is changing fast, customers want shorter runs, just-in-time delivery and individualised content. Océ, a leading provider of high-performance colour printing and document management, takes the lead and puts ready-to-market solutions at its event for a select group of publishers and print providers.
The Océ Colour Business Days will demonstrate how short runs can be produced economically. Dynamically-generated print products on display will evidence how production efficiency can be improved and turnarounds increased while at the same time cost and speed are kept under control.
Colour in transaction & direct mail
Migration from monochrome to colour and the move from analogue to digital printing are the most relevant business decisions for corporate organisations and service providers. The Océ Colour Business Days will have high-speed data printing for transaction and TransPromo on show, premium direct mail and loyalty as well as trade applications.
Live solutions will demonstrate how high-performance digital inkjet printing can expand application style and scope and how this fits to an individualised customer approach. As communication trends are cross-media, Océ will present ways to use synergy and benefits of both electronic media and print.
A day of networking
“More than 1,800 key decision makers have attended our regular Océ Home of Colour premium customer events since their start two years ago,” says Sebastian Landesberger, Executive Vice President, Océ Production Printing. “This time advanced colour solutions will set the stage for discussions among business and consultancy experts in a highly technological ambience. We come up with pinpoint live product presentations and dynamic printing concepts to increase the impact of customised communication, with significant reduction of time-to-market, in typical Bavarian atmosphere.”
Benefits from the No. 1 in colour
For the second year in a row, Océ has been awarded the top ranking in digital full colour continuous feed printing with a market share of 30 percent.
