Océ PRISMAenterprise & i-Option License Management System

What is an Océ software licence and an Océ licence number?

An Océ software licence formally gives you the right to use a software application. An Océ software licence number is the number that you receive from Océ when you purchase a licence for an Océ software product. The licence number gives you the right to use and exploit the ordered feature set of the software.

Océ PRISMAenterprise

Each Océ PRISMAenterprise application, with the exception of Device Manager includes a Licence Key Certificate that allows the use of the software in combination with five (5) printer devices. To add more printers additional licences can be obtained via Océ and can be added at any time in increments of 1, 5 or 25 printer device licences. Océ’s Licence Management System offers easy installation and activation of your licences.

i-Option

In order to use i-Option, a token code and the applicable serial number of the printer device is required. When activated in the Océ Licence Management System a licence number is supplied which will activate the i-Option on the printer device.
 

Activating your Océ PRISMAenterprise Licence

You can activate your licence in 3 simple steps:

1. Purchase
   Océ PRISMAenterprise Account, Authentication or My Panel Manger and locate your Licence Key Certificate. Your Licence Key Certificate includes 5 printer devices for Océ PRISMAenterprise.

2. Registration
   After installation of PRISMAenterprise, go to the Server Settings menu and register your Licence Key number.

3. Licence Verification
   Once your registration is verified by the Licence Management System (LMS), please confirm the licence information in the Océ PRISMAenterprise Server Settings menu. Your licence is now activated and can be assigned to a printer device.

Note: This process also applies to the optional Gateway for Biometric Authentication Manager. Only the Licence Key Certificate is issued . A licence is required to activate each biometric authentication server. 

Repair or Deactivating your licence?

In case you want to deactivate your licence key you can delete the licence key number in the Licence Management settings in the application software. 

Activating your i-Option Licence

You can activate your licence in 3 simple steps:

1. Purchase an i-Option and receive the Token Certificate
   After you have purchased an i-Option, the Token Certificate is issued and sent to you.

2. Token Code Number
   Access the Licence Management System (LMS) server and input the Token code number located on the Token Certificate as well as the MFP serial number..

3. Licence Key
   After that, you will receive a Licence Key number which is required to activate the Feature Enhancement Kit (FEK) on the printer device. (A Licence Key is required for each device.)

4. Registration and Activation
   To activate the licenced i-Option features, you can either register the Licence Key manually by the MFP control panel, by Web Connection, or by using the Licence Install Utility, an activation utility for multiple devices.
